Guidelines
- Prose: up to 2 pieces, with a total limit of 5000 words.
- Poetry: up to 3 poems, with a total limit of 5 pages.
- If you are submitting multiple pieces, please ensure they are collated in a single document.
- Please follow standard formatting guidelines, and use a 12-point legible font (Times New Roman or similar) for all submissions.
- If you’ve submitted a piece and it’s accepted elsewhere, please let us know and withdraw your submission. We only accept previously unpublished works.
- We only accept BLIND SUBMISSIONS. All work should be uploaded in a single document without any personal information, including your name.
- Include the word count and any applicable content warnings in this document.
- We do not tolerate plagiarism or hateful/discriminatory content of any kind. We also refuse to publish any AI-generated content.
- We strongly encourage writers to use content warnings, especially regarding sensitive material. (graphic violence, self-injury, erotic scenes, etc.) These should be included in the document with your written work.
- We’re up for anything but lean more toward genre fiction, SFF, speculative fiction, and stories that fall outside literary realism. We especially encourage submissions featuring queer characters/themes or by 2SLGBTQIA+ writers.
- At this time, please submit prose pieces in English only. Poetry may be submitted in English or another language so long as your work is accompanied by an English translation.
- For standard submission calls, everyone is welcome to submit. If a call or issue is seeking only writers of a particular group, we operate based on self-identification and ask writers to please respect the space.
These guidelines may be subject to change.
Thank you!
